of petrophysical properties of hydrocarbon bearing reservoirs using
frequency dependent Amplitude Variation with Offset (FAVO) analysis (~ 47 lakhs)
(In
this project, I have proposed to capture the dispersion effect caused
due to the wave induced fluid flow, analysing industry standard seismic
datasets. We are going to develop algorithms for inversions in
poroelastic medium to estimate frequency dependent physical
parameters.. Interested candidates with sound background in Physics / Mathematics /

Delineation
of shallow subsurface morphotectonics below the Central siesmic gap -
Himalaya using an integration of passive and controlled source
seismology (~ 53 lakhs)
(In
this project, I have proposed to integrate the passive and active
seismological datasets to delineate the shallow subsurface structures
in details. We will carry out the travel time tomography and ambient
noise tomography on the collected datasets.)

Modeling of Gas
hydrate reservoir using integrated techniques (~ 66 lakhs)

this project, I have proposed to develop a novel integrated technique
including 3D downward continuation, 2D/3D travel time tomography and
2.5D Full Waveform Inversion (FWI) to tackle the wide-angle high
resolution multi-channel
seismic datasets to image shallow targets with a greater precision.
