Satellite communication system designWe design softwares to detect satellite communication signals. Virtual Full-Duplex Relaying in Cellular SystemsWe are building a relay system that will achieve the performance of full-duplex relaying using half-duplex relays. This system is based on a novel relaying protocol proposed by us recently. We plan to build a virtual full-duplex testbed using commercial off-the-shelf software defined radios. Picture of Lab set-up. 4G Radio Access Network TestbedA testbed consisting of four base stations and twelve users was built at IIT Madras to experimentally investigate the novel wireless communication algorithms in realistic fading and interference settings. As a part of this project, I designed, built and tested the testbed hardware from scratch, and also developed LTE PHY layer algorithms to exercise the testbed.
