Sanjay Sharma (Graduated in Jan'25, Joined GlobalFoundries, Bangalore)

Sanjay Sharma received his B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Madhav Institute of Technology Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh in 2010 and his M.Tech in Microelectronics specialization (EC Department) from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi in 2014. His Present research focuses on the Modeling and Simulation of Parasitic Capacitance and Resistance in modern Field Effect Transistors (FETs). He likes to play Badminton, listen to devotional songs, have general discussions with friends, and gardening in his free time. He was jointly supervised by me and Prof. Rik Dey.

Musaib Rafiq (Prime Minister Research Fellowship, Graduated in Jan'26, Joined GlobalFoundries, Bangalore)

Musaib received his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar in 2020. He firmly believes in the mantra: 'Work Hard, Play Hard'. Needless to say, he is a sport's freak plying his trade in basketball wherein he had the honour to represent NIT Srinagar's basketball team at both state and the national level. MD Yasir Bashir (July'21-present, Delivered Open Seminar Jan'26)

Yasir received his B.Tech and M.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, in year 2017 and 2021, respectively. He qualified both NET and JRF in electronic science in year 2020 and got JRF fellowship for PhD. His current research focuses on design and fabrication of RRAMs. Apart from academics, he has keen interest in electronics from childhood. Himanshu Yadav received his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from PSIT, Kanpur, in 2014 and his M.Tech in ECE with a specialization in Digital Systems from MMMUT, Gorakhpur, in 2018. His current research work focuses on fabrication and characterization of emerging non-volatile memories. Sudip Mandal (Jan'25-present)

Sudip Mandal received his B.E. in ECE from UIT, Burdwan University, in 2021 and his M.Tech in VLSI & Embedded Systems from IIIT Guwahati in 2024. Currently pursuing a PhD at IIT Kanpur, his research focuses on ferroelectric memory-based neuromorphic computing. When not optimizing circuits, he enjoys capturing the world through his lens perhaps searching for the ideal "negative resistance" in nature.He also enjoys cooking, proving that even outside the lab, he experiments with complex recipes though thankfully, with fewer voltage breakdowns.

kaustubh received his B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETC) from Maharashtra Institute of Technology (M.I.T), Pune in 2016. Sandeep Perikala (B.Tech'22, Joined Intel)

Sandeep is an undergraduate student in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He is currently working on design and analysis of Tunnel FET based biosensors. He follows all the major events of Cricket, Chess and Tennis. He played a lot of chess during the lockdown. He follows and studies super GMs games to improve his tactics. He also watches lots of movies and web-series in his free time and listens to music (mostly pop) when he is stressed.

Amirtha is a final year undergraduate student in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli. She is highly interested in the emerging electronic technologies and her current area of research is VLSI design and nanoelectronics. She is an avid learner and loves experimenting. She also likes to play badminton and enjoys listening to music.

Arjun Tyagi (B.Tech'23, BITS Pilani, Goa campus)

Arjun Tyagi is a final year undergraduate student at BITS Pilani, majoring in Electronics & Instrumentation. His areas of interest are Analog Circuit Design, Neuromorphic Computing & Emerging Memory Technology. He has worked upon several projects in the above fields at Arizona State University, IIT Bombay & IIT Kanpur. Apart from this, he loves to go on long distance runs or hit the gym to keep his mind & body fresh.
