For the first time at IIT Kanpur, a new series of workshops were conceived and conducted for PG students of the department of Civil Engineering to equip them with better English writing skills that are intended to improve their technical writing in general and thesis in particular. These workshops were conducted over the weekends during the course of the semester and in association with faculty members of Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Institute.
